Major results in industry:- almost all the wire-drawing shops of the former USSR use the technology of drawingunder hydrodynamic friction, which was developed by V. L. Kolmogorov and his helpers;- some sorts of finned tubes for nuclear reactors are rolled on mills completed withequipment developed by V. L. Kolmogorov;- the materials of his Doctoral thesis were used for the development of the firsthome-produced hot tube rolling mill with a long mobile mandrel. V. L.
